Meet the Designs: The Stories Behind Our Wine Label Umbrellas
Every Vinrella wine bottle umbrella is designed to make people look twice. But a few of our labels mean a little more to us, because they come straight from our own family's story.
Where the designs began
Our French-inspired label collection was designed by Vinrella owners Gabriel and Sunshine Chapman, together with Orlando artist Toni Peck. The inspiration came from the wine labels of France, where our parents live and where we visit often. Over many trips, we fell in love with the artistry of those labels: the engraved illustrations, the elegant lettering, and the way a single label can tell a whole story about a place and its people.
We wanted to bring that feeling home and tuck it into something you could carry every day.
Meet the designs
Château Chevalière. A deep black Bordeaux-style bottle with a silver label featuring an engraved-style illustration of a female knight on horseback. The design honors the chevalière, the feminine knight whose strength lies in elegance and quiet power. Inside, a sleek black canopy keeps the look timeless.
Belle Étoile. "Beautiful star." Inspired by a sky alive with dancing stars and a figure reaching upward, light in hand, this Chardonnay-label design is a tribute to grace, movement, and the women who carry their own light.
Artemisia. A love letter to the Art Nouveau posters of turn-of-the-century Paris, with flowing lines and ornamental flourishes. The design honors Artemis, goddess of the moon and the hunt, pairing her wild grace with the soft elegance of the Belle Époque.
Beach Club Rosé. Inspired by carefree days beneath a striped cabana shade, when the whole world turns pink. It's our ode to rosé season and the joy of a long afternoon by the sea.
A common thread
Look closely and you'll notice a theme. Many of these designs celebrate women: knights, goddesses, stargazers, and dreamers. Each one is about strength paired with grace, the same balance we try to bring to every Vinrella, where beautiful design meets everyday function.
More than a label
Like every Vinrella, each design hides a full-size umbrella inside a patented bottle-shaped case. When the rain stops, fold the umbrella, slide it back inside, and cap it. The case keeps wetness sealed away, so your bag, car, and belongings stay dry.
They make wonderful gifts for wine lovers, Francophiles, and anyone who appreciates a good story. And we hope that every time someone pulls one out on a rainy day, it brings a little bit of the magic of a French vineyard along with it.
