Laurel Burch was self-taught, and she started at nineteen hammering jewelry from scrap metal in San Francisco to support her children. She was born with a rare bone disease that broke her bones more than a hundred times and often kept her painting from a bed or a wheelchair. None of it made it into the work, which stayed joyful to the end.

Such a cute design, this is replacing one that I have had for years. I get so many compliments. A bit disappointed that the interior has less slots and doesn't hold as many cards as my previous one.
Again I should have read the description. This is hard plastic but color was good. The inside was just a little better than cardboard. Not what I expected.
Laurel Burch's artwork shows up well on this metal wallet. The catch holds the wallet closed very well...just don't overstuff the compartments with receipts! I have been using mine for over a year. It is operating very well.
