The decorated sugar skull belongs to Dia de los Muertos, the Mexican tradition of meeting death with color, marigolds, and celebration rather than fear. Frida filled her home and her paintings with that spirit her whole life.
Officially licensed through the Frida Kahlo family foundation, this pattern draws on the flowers and symbols that filled her life at the Casa Azul in Mexico City.

Frida K. fan so I love this wallet. The most used credit cards are held snugly on the outside while the zipper pocket holds cash and extra cards. The keychain attachment for a lanyard is very useful so I can retrieve the wallet from the depths of my bag. Pleased with the purchase.
