Cherries everywhere, which is exactly right. The cherry is Mary Engelbreit's signature motif, the one she has returned to for four decades and the one collectors look for first.

Mary Engelbreit has been drawing this world from her St. Louis studio for more than forty years, starting with a line of twelve greeting cards and building it into a style everyone recognizes on sight: bright color laid over strong black outlines, black-and-white checkerboard borders, and a cherry tucked in somewhere. The cherry is her hallmark. It is even painted on her office door.
