Van Gogh painted Almond Blossom in February 1890 as a gift for his brother Theo and sister-in-law Jo, who had just had a son and named him Vincent. Almond trees are the first to flower in southern France, and he chose them deliberately as a sign of new life. The cropped branches against flat blue sky show how much he had absorbed from Japanese woodblock prints. The original is at the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.

It was just as expected and is filled and happy in my purse!

The blue color is lighter on my screen but the design is VERY pretty and was glowing when I took it out at the club. The clasp doesn't click in as hard as I'd expect but it seems sturdy, and I won't be stuffing it. Can't vouch for RFID at this time. Very pleased!!
